This review is based off of the amazing care from my Casemanager Crystal, nurses Seery, Toni, and Kelly. The entire PT and OT was also amazing and very patient. Tyler, Mark (pulmonary management) and the NP from pulmonary as well. Crystal has been the best. She is the reason I came back a second time. Hands down if you are looking for a rehab or a place to send your loved one..ask to connect with Crystal in casemanagement.
Crystal and her team are wealth of knowledge! Easy to work with and very customer service oriented.

On behalf of our brother, our family were in need of a rehab facility for post acute care, with Memory case assistance. _ASHLEY_ came to our rescue with immediate help. She took care of many of our brother’s needs within a matter of hours. Her professional manner and kindhearted spirit are stellar. Our brother is comfortable, reassured he’ll get the healing rest he needs, along with the PT/OT required to get him back home. * Many thanks to you, Ashley! *

My mother is currently a resident here at Palm valley acute! She been a resident for almost 2 months now and see a lot improvement in her behavior her physical appearance also her attitude to as well.. in all honesty they have some of the best stuff that care for their residence! The directing marketing Ashley went above and beyond to help me get what I need for my mother for documentations that I needed from another faculty before I had to admit my mother at Palm valley acute! I really needed this documentation for court to show the judge! If you ever need assistance or anything Ashley the directing marketer she would be your point of contact to get a hold of for anything you need asist! I Don’t do too many reviews but she definitely deserves the best and only the best blessings to you Ashley 🙏🏾🌹

This is a dangerous place to put your loved one. My husband had a stroke so he couldn’t move half his body. It was caused from blood clots. He wasnt given any blood thinners so he developed blood clots rapidly, He wasnt given any water through an I V and he had a bed sore on his buttocks. All caused by neglect. When he got short of breath they wouldn’t give him adequate respitory care. He was suffering real bad here. it horrified me how awful they care for your family. When he was finally taken to the ER it was too late. His lungs were full of blood clots, ge was severely dehydrated and ended up having to be taken off of life support. He just wanted another chance to live and this facility caused him to die and go through so much suffering just in a matter of a few days. These people make me sick. They treated him like he was trash.

Palm valley is a fantastic place I would highly recommend!!!
I am very disappointed with the customer service here. Some people have been great and were great when my mother-in-law was a patient. Some people, specifically leaders at this facility do not return numerous phone calls, do not provide information, and continue to ignore patient families. She was moved due to lack of support. Update: Someone did call me. They are fixing the situation. A thank you, to Ashley & Crystal from the marketing department. The only people I’ve consistently heard back from.

It is a very good place, particularly regarding the personal care. They are very attentive to every detail, and all the nurses and assistants—regardless of whether they are the ones specifically assigned to you—help with absolutely everything you need. Especially Regan—she takes care of my wife. 10/10.

The building is very clean, the staff is nice and friendly. They have great liaisons, Crystal and Ashley, will do all they can to help families through the admin process. They also have one of the best activity directors in the valley.

Had a great tour with Palm Valley Post Acute. Met with the marketing Director Ashley. She was professional and knowledgeable. Appreciated the time she took with me and the overall care she and the team have for the work they do. The facility was clean and well maintained.

Terrible terrible place !!! Don’t leave your family here . Not trusted nurses. Had to rescue my Mother in the middle of the night. She is still traumatized.

Some of the staff members are amazing and some of them seem annoyed or inconvenienced when called upon for support. It’s hit or miss. The facility needs a major remodel and update. The doors and furniture in the rooms are very beat up. The courtyards need to be cleaned up and updated with better landscaping and a gravel refresh. They have a way to go to earn an honest 5 star review.

I need much more room than you can provide. I will say that I came home today with 4 additional health problems, 3 of which the drs sent meds home for. My nurse Alysha was very professional and caring as was cna Marlene😁😁

No doctor onsite who checks on patients; you are left in the care of CNAs, Med Techs and sharing of one RN. They do the best they can without any type of medical oversight or management. It is clear they do the hard work with little resources. Be careful with prescribed meds, they do not follow a process and order if needed; it is only if you tell them but nothing is documented on patient files to know what the patient is on for each shift to know. Pain meds were distributed to patient and almost five days later they had patient sign a form to document she was given the pain meds. Do not believe the marketing director if she approaches you at the hospital to transition patient to post care, she states you can call or text her anytime to address issues; that is a complete lie and it’s a recorded answering machine. To speak with management it takes about a week for them to come address your patient issues. If your post care needs are more than limb or physical injury, DO NOT bring your patient here.

My husband was recently admitted to Palm Valley after being in Mayo, the VA and Barrow hospitals and Encompass Rehab for the past 3 months. We had a really good experience with staff at all the above. Palm Valley staff does not smile, my husband can do nothing on his own and they dont seem to care. Why do people take these jobs if they have no compassion for the people they are looking after. He can’t walk, his arm is of no use and they put things away where he can reach such as his water. I found his call button on the floor behind the bed when i got there. How is he to call if he has an issue? If you can move around on your own it may be a great place, but i have yet to walk down the hall and get a smile from anyone. This would be unacceptable at Mayo or Barrow.

Nurses are overwhelmed. They can’t even get me my pain meds on time. And notes never get relayed from nurse to nurse. Once I complained they put me in a different wing that gave me much better responses than the first wing I was in but never on time. About 60-90 minute past it’s due time.
